Micellar of cornflower - sensitive skin

Cornflower Hydrolate is produced by distilling cornflowers (Centaurea cyanus) with water steam. It has got anti-oxidative, alleviating, softening, anti-edemic and anti- inflammatory properties. These properties are the result of rich amount of flavonoids and anthocyanins in form of blue pigments of cyanine and pelargonidin which protect the plant against external factors such as pathogenic microbes or UV radiation..

Cornflower Floral Water is also rich in mineral salts, especially manganese, pectins, organic acids and small amount of tannins.

Unique soothing and refreshing properties of cornflowers are used in compresses on eyelids and irritated eyes. It is used as a mild eye and make up remover. Besides Cornflower Hydrolate is rich in polyphenols and minerals.

Vitamin B3  used in cosmetics slows down ageing by stimulating the production of collagen and ceramides, therefore, it is a perfect product for ageing and mature skins. It regulates the level of skin moisturising, improves elasticity, brightens discolourations, and prevents the creation of new ones.

As an ingredient of products for acne skin, it reduces the sebum synthesis in sebaceous glands and the creation of blackheads. It also narrows down the ostia of sebaceous glands.

NMF is a substance which protects skin against dehydration. It maintains proper level of hydration in the upper skin layers. NMF also plays a crucial role in retaining physical properties of outer skin layers (horny layer). The components of NMF include amino acids, urea, AHA acids as well as their lactates and PCA.

Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is a natural detergent, nonionic surfactant produced from renewable resources: fatty alcohols and plant glucose. It has got high foaming and cleaning value and is considerably more gentle than Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS). Being mild for eyes, it is perfect for micellar liquids and facial washing gels. Capryl Glucoside is well tolerated by the skin, therefore, it may be used for production of mild washing cosmetics. It is considered as the most gentle detergent used in micellar liquids and make up removers.

Natural Betaine is amino acid obtained from sugar beet — a derivative of glycine. It is a crystal white powder with very high hygroscopic properties and an ability to protect cellular membranes. Natural Betaine has got strong moisturising properties, therefore, it neutralizes irritating effect of detergents and improves hair volume which make it an ideal additive to washing product (shampoos, hair conditioners, washing emulsions, micellar liquids, intimacy products).ej).

In micellar liquids, it ideally removes even very strong make-up.

Set Components for 100g of Liquid:

• Mild Surfactant Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside – 1 g

• Cornflower Hydrolate – 40 g

• Vitamin B3 – 2 g

• Polysorbate 20 – 3 g

• NMF – 4 g

• Preservative – 1 g

• Natural Betaine  - 3g

• Plastic bottle with atomizer

• Disposable pipette

• Sticker

• Spatula

The quantity of all ingredients in the set is precisely measured.

The Creation of Micellar Liquid:

1. Check whether the set is complete.

2. Prepare your work place adhering to the basic rules of hygiene.

3. Pour water into the container with hydrolate (Floral Water) and add Vitamin B3 along with the Preservative and Betaine. Stir until the powders have dissolved. Next add the remaining ingredients. They should be poured very carefully until the receptacles are almost completely empty..

4. Finally, stir everything very precisely. 

5. The liquid is ready to use.

The liquid may be stored in room temperature up to 25°C.
