Description

INCI:  Silybum Marianum  Seed Oil

Milk thistle is a stout annual or biennial plant with purple, thistle-like flower heads in summer, followed by black seeds with tufts of white hair. The oil is extracted from the ripe seeds. It contains essential fatty acids, sterols, anti-oxidants and Vitamin E and is useful as a food supplement and for cosmetics. It is nutritive and protective for the skin and has traditionally been used as an aid to liver function.

The Milk thistle oil is considered as the one of the rich source of the natural vitamin E and its derivatives. Beside this type of substances it contains also special kind of flavonoids (flavonolignans) which contributes to high anti-oxidant potential of the oil and protection of the skin supporting its regeneration. Thus Milk thistle oil is suitable especially for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations intended for sensitive and irritated skin like in new born babies, children, people suffering from atopic eczema, psoriasis, diabetic patients etc..

Using milk thistle oil daily, in combination with other oils - olive, almond, etc., soothes the skin and prevents acne.

This oil prevents the development of varicose veins by strengthening the walls of the subcutaneous capillaries. It also helps to prevent cellulite, so use it in anti-cellulite massage.

Milk Thistle oil can be used for any type of skin. It nourishes the skin with vitamins, moisturizes, and rejuvenates it. Using the oil increases the protective functions of the skin, improves face color and makes skin more supple and elastic. Opis produktu

To silny przeciwutleniacz, głęboko nawilża i regeneruje skórę. Sylimaryna zawarta w oleju chroni naturalną warstwę lipidową skóry, stymuluje odnowę komórkową, rekonstruuje lipidy i naturalną barierę ochronną, chroniąc ją przed działaniem wolnych rodników.
